Andrés has more than 15 years of experience in the mining industry, has been an advisor in regulatory matters for several mining companies, as well as on the commercial side, has participated in some of the most renowned transactions in the mining industry, the last ones being the merger between two Canadian companies with projects in Ecuador and Colombia, the acquisition of two exploratory projects for an Australian company, and the acquisition of one of the largest gold projects in Ecuador for a Canadian company. Andrés is also a professor of Mining Law at two universities and has held various representative positions in the sector’s trade associations, and is currently a trustee of the Chamber of Mines of Ecuador.
