Manuel has focused his practice on the field of Intellectual Property and Competition Law, participating in several interesting cases in these fields. With his experience and knowledge, both practical and theoretical, he has assisted small and large clients to structure and organize their trademark portfolios, as well as to protect them in an increasingly competitive world, transmitting, at all times, the importance of protecting one of the most important intangible assets of every company.

Manuel has also dedicated a large part of his professional life to the professorship in the most important universities of Ecuador, teaching subjects such as: Introduction to Law, Objects of Law, Industrial Property and Intangible Property Law, both to undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Sice 2017 until 2019, Manuel hold the respected and deserved position of Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Jurisprudence of the Catholic University of Ecuador.
