Miguel has focused his practice on corporate, commercial, labor, energy, intellectual property and international cooperation advice. Throughout his career, he has participated in the establishment and operation in Ecuador of energy and commercial companies and of non-governmental cooperation organizations on environmental matters. He has carried out corporate audits and participated in the merger, acquisition and sale of companies to both local and foreign clients. For several years, he has advised a U.S. organization with international operations in the conservation area, as Legal Counsel for Latin America.
He currently mainly advises clients, both local and foreign companies, on foreign investments, preventive labor, corporate and commercial matters. He continues to advise and coordinate with foreign law firms on various issues of international organizations operating in Latin America.
